Sage X3 Name Change
Now Called Sage Enterprise Management
Just when you thought you had the different product names figured out, we learned that Sage has changed the name of Sage X3. Effective in March 2018, Sage X3 is now called Sage Enterprise Management.
It's primarily a marketing change designed to help you focus more on the capabilities your business needs from Sage and less on the individual product brand names. In short, it’s the same Sage X3 software with a different name.
Sage Intelligence Reporting Bundle Now Available at No Cost
Sage Intelligence Reporting is now available as a bundle for all Sage X3 customers. If you’re running version 6 or higher, you’re eligible to receive a one user bundle at no cost.
What is the Bundle?
As part of the standard Sage X3 product offering, the Sage Intelligence Reporting Bundle includes:
- One Report Manager user license (workstation-based license)
- One Report Designer module
- One Connector module license
For larger organizations that need more than one license, you can get add more Report Manager or Report Viewer licenses at an additional cost.
What is Sage Intelligence Reporting?
Sage X3 Intelligence pulls real-time financial and operational data from your Sage X3 system and then delivers it in Excel templates which you can easily view and/or customize.
The Excel-based interface let’s you slice, dice, and analyze your Sage X3 data in graphs and pivot tables that provide a much more hands-on and visual experience than standard reports can provide.
For customers (version 6 or higher) that would like to add Sage Intelligence Reporting, please follow the typical license request process with Sage in order to get the complimentary Sage Intelligence one-user license bundle for Sage X3.
