PLLC has produced labels and inserts for the pharmaceutical industry since 1928. Nearly a century later, PLLC continues to grow and expand—today it is 200 employees strong, with $30 million in annual revenues. With PLLC’s old software, month-end closings took an average of 12 days. Intacct has cut that time to five or six days—more than a week faster. “There is an enormous time savings,” Ross says. “It’s time I can spend evaluating and analyzing the numbers instead of just gathering them.”

PLLC can get more timely data than before. Instead of waiting until month-end closing to be completed, Ross and her team can get the information they need at any time. “It allows us to be proactive in our decision making,” Ross says.

PLLC uses CERM, a sophisticated printing application, it its operations. The company’s new financial and reporting software had to interface with CERM. RKL worked with CERM’s technical team to build this interface. Now, data is sent from CERM into Intacct daily, automatically creating vendor invoices in Intacct. Manual entry and errors are a thing of the past.
