RKL eSolutions Moving Miles Challenge FAQs

There are two places where participants can get updates and post about the challenge:
- Check out the "feed" tab on Challenge Hound to post updates and pictures about your experience with the challenge
- Join our Strava Club to track your miles with their mobile app and interact with other participants in the challenge.
For this challenge, we are logging distance-focused fitness activities like walking, running, cycling and swimming. Yes, walking the golf course instead of taking a cart counts!
Note: Some activities will be counted at different point values to better equate them to walking and running.
To log miles on the golf course, be sure to categorize the activity as "walk" not "golf"
To join the challenge you'll need to sign up with Challenge Hound and join the RKL e Solutions Distance Challenge. From there you can connect one of several tracking apps or opt to record your miles manually. Your miles will automatically be recorded in the challenge.
How to Join the Challenge:
Yes!
The challenge is open to anyone, whether they join you or get moving on their own, so feel free to share the page with your whole network!
Yes, any indoor version of walking, running, or cycling counts (Pelton, treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical, etc.) as long as you can count the miles, you can log them.
If your equipment doesn't display distance, please use an honest educated guess – Here's a helpful tool.
No. While we commend all of you who are walking over a mile in your day job, please only count intentional miles towards the challenge.
(Walking with your kids in the park counts, chasing them around your living room doesn't.)
Nope! RKL eSolutions and Sage Foundation are donating for every mile you move regardless of personal donations.
However, we encourage you to donate to the cause and to share the donation link with your friends, family and social media channels to maximize our impact.
