The newest release of Sage Intacct Construction 2024 is here! This release has several new updates for improved efficiency and streamlined processes that we know you'll want to take advantage of. It also includes some improvements to Sage Construction Management, Construction Payroll, and Sage Field Operations. Read some of the highlights below:
Summary Billing Details Tab: You can now print time and materials and expenses billing details directly from project contract invoices, without creating a separate report. Then, sort, filter, and group all billed expenses with links for easy navigation to review the original cost entry.
Adding Scope and Schedule to a Project: Add the scope and schedule to a project to define the scope, exclusions, inclusions, and terms so that everyone involved in the project is aware of those important details and stays on schedule.
Track Project Change Orders and Change Requests: You can view or export project change orders and requests assigned to the project or project contract. A new Change management tab on the Project information page and the Project contracts page has been added, allowing you to track project change orders and change requests from a project or project contract easily.
Enhancements in Work In Progress (WIP) Management: New fields, such as customer, project manager, location, department, class, project status, project type, and overbilled or underbilled. The PM and CFO fields have been updated and some fields have expanded the range of values.
Enhancements in Property Management: A few features have been enhanced, such as managing lease renewals, configuring late fees, and cumulative calculations for tenants with percentage rent agreements. Two new reports, the Lease Abstract report and the Projected Revenue report, have also been added.
New and Improved Integrations: Sage Intacct Real Estate now integrates with Continental Unity, giving users a complete billing solution for public utilities (water, sewer, gas, and electric). The integration with Kanso has also been improved to provide residential housing organizations a a complete overview of their tenant billing and payment data.

Three reports were also updated: Project Cost Overview, Project Estimate vs Actual Cost, and Project Estimate vs Actual Cost PJD.
New Mapping with Accounting Link: Sage Intacct can pull in information on labor timecards (labor codes and time types), equipment timecards (equipment codes), and miscellaneous expenses. For example, it can specify whether the posting rules are selected according to the payment type (such as cash or Mastercard) or according to the expense type (such as food or fuel) for the employee and the vendor.
New Reporting Features: Sage Construction Management has added many new reports: Work In Progress (WIP) PM Forecasting, cost budgets/commitments / gross cost at completion vs. ERP job-to-date costs, prime invoice totals and ERP job-to-date costs, and prime and sub invoice retainage overview reports.
Project, Cost Budget, and Prime Contract Sync: You can resync projects, cost budgets, and prime contracts when Sage Construction Management gets updated with new values and updated after they're posted.
Check Modification Process: You can now override pay modifiers associated with multiple distributions on the same work date and prevent the removal of pay modifier overrides during the recalculation process.
Check Stub Generation: Processing times have been reduced to as little as 25% of their previous duration. Check stubs include the employer address and 401(k) split into pre-tax and post-tax amounts.
