Companies then get so accustomed to those work arounds that they are accepted as standard procedures. LDC had found a lot of work arounds to manage their business using Sage Pro.
The time had come and LDC knew they had to do something if they were going to keep up with their member base. “We knew we had to implement new software sooner or later. But change is always scary so we weren’t in a big hurry,” Alan Parham, LDC Administrator. Since LDC provides services to regional union members they could not afford a lot of downtime. They also could not afford a lot of mistakes while transitioning to the new software.
